Winter’s Fall

Snow…

This photo was shot for one of my photography class assignments. The subject matter was to be snow. I went out into my boyfriend’s parents’ backyard in Wisconsin after a beautiful snowfall and got this! I really love the way the sunlight is shining through the leaves showing all of their veins. I thought that it was interesting that in mid-January there were still leaves as vivid as this one. It sure has been an odd winter! I think that this photograph does a great deal of exploring the juxtaposition of fall and winter in one frame giving a sense of seasonal change.
